I’m calling in regards to the human rights violations that are being enacted by ICE, Trump’s de facto private militia. A couple nights ago, 300 officers used Black Hawk military helicopters to descend upon an apartment building in Chicago for a raid in the middle of the night.
Doors were busted down, property destroyed and people terrorized. There were no warrants, there was no cause. The claim that any gang members may have been in that apartment are completely unwarranted, literally. There was no warrant.
Children and residents, some naked or in states of undress, were marched from the building with zip ties on and placed in UHauls. Black citizens were placed in other UHauls. People that had the appearance of possibly being immigrants were placed in other UHauls. There was no cause to do this except to show Trump, the Dictator Wannabe‘s use of force on the American People.
I urge Rep/Senator to come out on the record and say they do NOT support the use of armed forces against civilians and children. They need to demand that Trump withdraw from his illegal and unconstitutional attack on the American people. They also need to support any articles for Trump’s impeachment and removal from office.
I will not vote for those who enable the attacks on our human rights and liberties.
